WhoWhatWear did a big post on The Southwestern Trend for Summer 2013 and it has been one of my favorite trends as well, so I wanted to piggyback a little bit and do my own take on it! I love this style. I recently took a few pictures up at my cabin in this style, so you will see “my southwestern” style soon, but I love the way celebrities have been wearing it and all of the stores have been branding with it, so here you go! One of my favorite trends for this summer!

So here are a few great clothing items to add to your closet if you are loving this style as much as I am. But don’t forget you can totally carry this into fall as well! I’m definitely planning on doing it! Throw a sweater over one of the maxi dresses, or add a scarf to the jeans and tee and you’ve turned a summer outfit into a fall outfit in a few seconds. Plus spring booties can be flipped over to fall just like that as well. Then you’re getting more use out of them!
